Hi everyone! My name is Tara (she/her), and I'm in my fourth year of general PNB. I am so excited to one of the Co-Presidents alongside Karina this year :) This is my third and final year on the society, and I'm so grateful for all of the opportunities that I've had through this experience and PNB in general. I love this program and all the people within it, and I hope we can make this the best year yet. In my free time, you might find me getting matcha, listening to Noah Kahan, or watching Dancing with the Stars. I'm looking forward to meeting you all at our events!

Hey everyone : ) My name is Karina (she/her), and I am in my 5th year of Biology and PNB. I am so grateful to be working alongside Tara as this year’s Co-President for the PNB Society. Over the past three years, the PNB program has offered so many incredible opportunities, engaging courses, and the chance to meet amazing people. I’m excited to help you experience the same by working behind-the-scenes with our wonderful team of executives and ambassadors to host the exciting academic and social events. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, graphic design, photography, kickboxing, and spending time with friends and family.

VP COMMUNICATIONS

Hey, hey, hey! My name is Dasnoor (she/her), and I'm in my fourth year of Biology and PNB! Having met so many of my closest friends through PNB classes and society events, I am eager to keep the good vibes going as VP Communications this year. Be it from events like PNB Orientation and General Assembly or making funny and informative TikToks, I am excited to interact with all of you! Outside of school, I love to read (on a murder mystery binge), crochet, bake and hang out with my eight-year-old Yorkie. I'm a proud PC lobby lurker, so please say hi if you see me!

Katerine (she/her) is a third-year BioPNB student who loves her program because it lets her study both the brain and the body, two things she’s always been curious about. She can usually be found biking to campus, sampling a new chai flavor, or secretly enjoying lectures a little too much when the topic is just right. Between classes, she tries to keep up with all the work (while pretending a three-hour YouTube documentary on a random niche subject definitely counts as “studying”). She also enjoys collecting fun facts that occasionally sneak their way into group conversations.

Hi, my name is Olivia (she/her) and I’m in my 3rd year of PNB Mental Health! I love playing volleyball and spending time with friends and family. I’m super interested in empathy, developmental psychology, and prosocial behaviour, and I’m always excited to learn something new. Recently, I’ve been getting into scrapbooking in an attempt to be more creative!

Hi everyone :) My name is Dhwani (she/her) and I’m in my 3rd year of Biology and PNB. I loved being an ambassador last year, so I’m super excited to be part of PNB Society again this year as VP Marketing. I’ve met so many amazing friends in PNB classes and events that I now actually look forward to going to classes just to see them (jk I love learning…) In my free time, I’m usually sleeping, reading, crocheting or just trying to catch a vibe. I’m looking forward to working with our amazing team this year and bringing to life so many fun events!

Hi! My name is Marie (she/her) and I’m in my fourth year of BioPNB. I’m so excited to be one of the VP Academics alongside Maya and run some awesome events with and for the PNB community. One of my favourite things about PNB is the fact that you get to learn about plenty of topics in psychology — cognition, neuroscience, animal behaviour, and even more in upper years! In my spare time, I love listening to music, collecting vinyls, and spending time outdoors hiking and camping.

Hi! I’m Maya (she/her) and i’m one of the VP Academics for this year. I am currently in my third year of PNB Mental Health and I love the PNB community! I’m particularly interested in studying how our current models of mental health can be improved. As of right now I want to pursue a job in research, but that answer might change within the hour... I am very excited to be a part of the society this year and can’t wait to connect all PNB students and faculty! Hello, my name is Sahej and I am the VP Finance (again) for the PNB Society this year! I love being a part of the PNB program and working with this amazing team to help PNB students connect with each other and build community. In my free time, I love to read, knit, or watching the first thing I see on Netflix. I’m looking forward to working with you all this year!

VP LEADERSHIP

Hey everyone :) My name is Busayo (she/her) and I’m in my third year of PNB in the Human Behaviour specialization. I’m so excited to be part of the PNB Society this year as the VP Leadership and to support connections within our mentorship program, ambassadors, and beyond. I love learning about the brain, understanding behaviour, and exploring topics around mental health and well-being. I also enjoy challenging myself to keep growing through new opportunities and experiences. At the same time, I really value mindfulness, rest, and self-care, since they’re often overlooked but make such a difference. Outside of school, I love watching shows (probably rewatching my favourites more than I should), spending time with friends, working out, and exploring new hobbies. I can’t wait to connect with more people this year and to see you at our events!
